About Kristina

Kristina earned her J.D. from Northwestern University School of Law, where she served as an editor of the Journal of Criminal Law and Criminology and was named Best Speaker and winner of Julius H. Miner Moot Court. Kristina joined the U.S. Attorney’s Office in 1987 and served for seven years prosecuting federal crimes including insider trading, tax and financial fraud, human trafficking, and gangs and narcotics conspiracies. She then joined a boutique firm where she served as chair of the white-collar criminal defense practice and hiring partner for the firm.

After more than 10 years as an attorney, Kristina moved into legal recruiting in 1999 and worked for both a large search firm and a boutique agency. She founded Anderson Legal Search in 2007 to better serve the needs of her clients. She consults regularly with law firm management on strategic partner hiring and with prominent partners who are considering moving their practices.
